Privacy policy
This policy explains data processing on the NKOTOV personal portfolio and its enquiry form. Privacy contact: nkotov2k17@gmail.com or Telegram @nkotov17.
1. Controller and scope
Enquiries are handled by portfolio owner Nikita Kotov. This policy covers this site and its form, not external sites or services such as Telegram. The owner must confirm the full legal identity of the controller before publishing this version.
2. Enquiry data
The form collects your name, e-mail or Telegram contact, project brief and budget range. The submission also includes a consent record, timestamp and consent text version. Spam protection uses a hidden field, form completion time and the request IP address. Do not submit identity documents, payment details, health information or other sensitive data.
3. Purposes and legal grounds
Data is used to reply, clarify your project and prepare a proposal, with the time and method of confirmation recorded when you submit the form. The controller must establish the applicable legal basis and any separate consent required by law. If a contract is agreed, necessary data may also be processed to perform the contract and meet legal obligations. Enquiry data is not used for marketing without a separate legal ground.
4. Enquiry delivery and infrastructure
The form sends the submission over HTTPS to a server handler on Netlify, which delivers it to the site owner through the Telegram Bot API. The bot token is never sent to the browser. The handler does not create a separate enquiry database; messages remain in the Telegram conversation. Hosting providers may retain technical request logs under their own policies.
Netlify and Telegram are external services and may process data outside your country and outside Russia. Before launch, the controller must verify applicable localisation, international transfer and notification requirements. This policy alone does not establish compliance with those requirements.
5. Yandex Metrica and cookies
If Metrica is configured and you choose “Allow analytics”, Yandex may receive visit information including IP address, browser and device type, page URL, referrer, page views, site interactions and cookie identifiers. The purpose is traffic measurement and site improvement.
In the supplied configuration, Metrica is not loaded before permission. Session Replay and automatic form parameter collection are disabled; names, contacts and enquiry messages are not included in analytics events. Declining analytics does not prevent browsing or sending an enquiry. Your choice is saved in this browser’s localStorage. To choose again, clear this site’s saved data in your browser settings and reopen the site.
Metrica cookie lifetimes depend on Yandex and counter settings. See https://yandex.com/legal/confidential/ and https://yandex.com/support/metrica/ . Counter settings in the provider dashboard must match this policy.
6. Yandex Webmaster and Google Search Console
These tools verify site ownership and monitor search visibility. Verification meta tags do not themselves submit form contents and do not constitute advertising pixels or Google Analytics. Search engines process their own search and technical information under their policies.
7. Retention and safeguards
Enquiries are retained until the enquiry and related project discussion are completed, unless a contract or law requires longer retention. When the purpose expires or valid consent is withdrawn, processing stops and data is deleted within applicable statutory time limits, unless another legal ground applies.
Access to messages and server settings should be limited to the owner and authorised people. Account security, current credentials and hosting configuration must be maintained. No internet transmission is guaranteed to be entirely secure.
8. Your rights
You may request access, correction, restriction or deletion, withdraw consent and contact the relevant supervisory authority. Write to nkotov2k17@gmail.com or @nkotov17 using the contact submitted with the enquiry. Proportionate verification may be required.
Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing. Applicable law determines response deadlines and any exceptions.
9. Changes
The latest policy is published here with its revision date. New consent will be obtained for material purpose or processing changes where required.
